I feel strongly 

that every expecting mother could benefit from hiring a birth doula, no matter what kind of birth you are planning. Birth is very emotional. It's euphoric, beautiful and joyful. It can also be terrifying, painful and dramatic. A doula is trained to care for the array of emotions and physical sensations that laboring mothers (and their partners) are going through. Your doula is walking with you every step of the way. We provide encouraging words, physical comfort measures and emotional support. We empower you to speak for yourself so that your birth can be your own.
